The Brief

We arranged an EMEA Sales Kick-off for our client Jabra in Dubai. After several days of intensive conferences and training, we were asked to arrange a glittering gala dinner as the grand finale to symbolise the extravagance of the chosen destination of Dubai.

We were required to suggest several “wow” venues, arrange transport, stage and set build with branding and AV, catering, entertainment and theme the event including furniture, linen and table centres and arrange an after party.

Results

After looking at several stunning venues, the client chose to exclusively hire at the Armani Terrace located at the bottom of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. This blank canvas space is located alongside the famous fountains and many other high-rise buildings iconic of the area and would provide a unique al fresco dining experience with high quality catering.

The guests did not know where the dinner location would be and were stunned when they stepped of the coaches at the bottom of the Burj Khalifa for a champagne reception. Every 15 minutes the fountains danced along to music which added to the atmosphere of this superb location.

We arranged for a stage with AV set design with large screen to be built and selected and hired all the furniture required.

The tables were furnished with black glittering table cloths, crystal charger plates, table centres that featured mirror bases with tall vases with water and floating candles and large scatter crystals.

After a sumptuous meal, a DJ played while guests danced on the terrace, occasionally stopping to watch the fountain show and gaze up at the light show on the side of the Burj Khalifa.

At the end of the evening, the party moved into the Armani nightclub which we hired exclusively with DJ to end this fabulous event in style.
