The River Thames features many boat companies offering scenic cruises to view the famous buildings along the river banks including the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, The Shard, The Gherkin, Walkie Talkie and London Bridge.

Windsor is a town on the River Thames just west of London and is home to Windsor Castle, a residence of the British Royal Family built by William The Conqueror in the 11th century. Public tours take in the State Apartments, which contain opulent furnishings, and paintings from the royal art collection.
Oxford revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’. You can also explore the magical world of Harry Potter in Oxford, a great place to discover the secrets of Hogwarts and walk the same mysterious hallways Harry, Hermione and Ron once did.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a beautiful medieval market town in the West Midlands and is well known for being the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare, possibly the most famous writer in the English language. Shakespeare is known for his sonnets and plays such as Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. The Royal Shakespeare Company perform his plays in two theatres on the banks of the River Avon.
The Orient Express is a luxurious long-distance passenger train service created in 1883 by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. Day trips throughout the rolling English countryside can be arranged with visits to historical cities such as Bath famous for its Roman baths.
