Jabra chose to hold this important event at the MK-7 venue at the Red Bull Racing Factory in Milton Keynes. They already have an affiliation with Red Bull, having produced headsets for their extreme sports division and with the added thrill of Formula One racing and the space available this proved to be the ideal venue to suit their requirements. It was also perfectly located in the centre of the UK, close to motorways and Milton Keynes Central Station.
The venue was so new, that we were fortunate to be one of the first large bookings to hire the space for an event like this and therefore none of the guests had ever been before. We hired the venue exclusively with its own reception and catering area and the exciting plenary space which features several original Formula One Red Bull racing cars around the edge of the room. A large built-in LED screen and lit information screens behind each car are also featured along with aspirational quotes from the Red Bull racing team. The space, including a mezzanine area was perfect for us to brand and lay out solution zone stands for each of the partners to visit and learn more about the latest products.
The guests were offered the opportunity to arrive mid-morning and take part in a behind the scenes Formula One factory tour. This fantastic tour gave unprecedented access into the world of F1 and offered a revealing insight at how the world’s fastest race cars are designed and built. Each guest was given a goodie bag with Red Bull Racing gifts at the end.
After a filling buffet lunch, the conference took place and the venue perfectly suited Jabra’s theme of high speed engineering. It was the ideal location to convey their messages and thanks to their partners.
After the plenary, coach transport was provided for guests to stay at a local hotel and the room was turned around before they arrived back for the evening. A dark and silver theme with LED floral table centres worked well with black linen, silver chairs and glitter charged plates. A branded racing simulator was provided so guests race for themselves and compete with each other during the evening. The meal was high quality from the in-house team at MK-7, the awards were presented and a disco played until midnight when guests returned to continue to party back in the hotel bar.
