The Brief
Our client, a global IT company, hold a sales meeting at the end of every quarter. For their summer meeting at the end of July, they wanted to make the most of the hot summer weather and combine the meeting with a small outdoor summer party event in the grounds of their offices, on the banks of the River Thames.
They wanted a simple but themed afternoon with an informal lunch, mobile bar and activities for the staff to take part in.

The client chose a British summer theme and we decorated the gardens with bunting branded both with the client’s logo and the Union Jack, deck chairs including a pair of giant deckchairs and blankets.
Fun activities included a rodeo bull, side stalls including hook a duck, cork shoot and coconut shy to win prizes, test of strength and a selection of quintessential garden games.
We offered a range of catering and mobile bar options in our proposal and the client chose a “Camper Van Beetle Juice bar” offering a range of cocktails, beers and wines and a London pie and mash stand for lunch. There was also a candy floss stand and visit from the ice cream van mid-way through the afternoon which was well received in the heat!
The staff were able to come and go throughout the afternoon from their office and take part as much or as little as they wished, workload allowing and it really made a stressful end of quarter meeting a lot more fun, without having to travel anywhere!
We received really good feedback from the staff on the day, many of which commented how fun it was to make the most of the good weather and attend the party on what is usually a stressful day.
