The Brief

Our client, Pure Storage, wanted to host several of their top partners from both the UK and abroad by arranging a fun weekend in combination with their sponsorship pf the Mercedes F1 team at the British Grand Prix.

We were asked to find a quintessentially British hotel that could accommodate the guests with gardens suitable for informal al fresco dining and entertainment within 30 minutes of Silverstone. As Pure Storage are an official team partner of Mercedes, we also were required to arrange a Mercedes F1 factory tour along with VIP Grand Prix hospitality and helicopter transfers.

Friday

We arranged for overseas guests to be met at airports by hostesses and transported to the chosen hotel – the stunning Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire.

Branded Mercedes Vianos transferred guests to the Mercedes Formula One factory in Brackley for a VIP tour. A catalyst meeting was also arranged so guests could see the huge strategic importance of the analytics provided by Pure Storage and how they work within Formula One delivering the last 6 world championships for Mercedes F1.

During the evening we arranged an al fresco British BBQ in the hotel gardens which also included hog roast, gin tasting and entertainment from a live duo.

Saturday

The fully branded vehicles transported the guests to Silverstone where they experienced full hospitality courtesy of the Mercedes F1 team including pit walkabout, visit to the garage and opportunity to meet a driver.

A themed pit garage dinner was arranged for the evening which included the official Mercedes F1 racing simulator.

Sunday

Privately chartered helicopters transferred guests to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix where guests experienced full hospitality in a private suite. Guests watched the Grand Prix with fantastic views over the start/finish straights before returning by helicopter to the hotel and their onward journeys.
