WEKA, a data IT company, wanted to invite their top clients to several Grand Prix events throughout the year worldwide as part of their relationship with Mercedes, as we had done very successfully for them several times in previous years.
The biggest event is the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. We booked the Welcombe Hotel in nearby Stratford-upon-Avon for several nights in July 2024. We arranged PAB and CAB meetings for them, plus top end VIP hospitality at Silverstone for 3 days.
We branded two mini buses to transport guests to the circuit, hired a quaint English pub for an informal pub meal, ordered branded gifts and arranged room drops to guests bedrooms. On the Saturday evening as the guests were arriving back to the hotel, we had originally arranged an outdoor BBQ, however as the England football team had reached the semi finals of the European Championships, we changed this to an indoor BBQ with football stadium flag theming, branded WEKA football and purple cocktails. We even arranged a purple WEKA racing car birthday cake for one of the guests!
We were also asked to make similar arrangements at The Singapore and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix races. All events include hotel accommodation, meetings, branded buses and the best hospitality available. In addition, the instruction is where possible, to make everything purple!
This series of events forms part of a larger chain of events we have run for WEKA which includes Euro football evenings, conferences and dinners.
