We were asked by our client to find a venue and arrange a Christmas conference and networking drinks reception for their partners. Their numbers had grown significantly from previous events we had arranged, so we needed a larger venue in central London to accommodate 200 people. After the plenary, they wanted to incorporate traditional Christmas market stalls and theming with branded Christmas gifts to give away to form part of the reception.
The event was held at the Rosewood Hotel, one of London’s most luxurious and modern hotels located in Holborn with easy access by public transport. Just over 200 partners arrives to listen to the Christmas update from our client and their sponsors.
After the conference the partners were treated to a surprise winter wonderland networking drinks reception. We themed the space with Christmas trees, lit garlands and arranged several traditional Christmas market stalls which were sponsored by partners. Their sponsorship allowed them a slot at the plenary, have marketing material visible and man one of the stalls with a selection of branded gifts to give away. Gifts included branded mince pies, baubles, candle chime tea light holders, chocolates, mini Prosecco bottles, fudge, bags plus branded catering items. We arranged QR code scanning badges as a quick and efficient way to register the guests and monitor their attendance as stands. This also provided post event feedback and contact details.
The attendance was higher than expected. Guests really enjoyed browsing the stalls and networking over a few festive drinks and taking goodies home to their families.
