Our client, Pure Storage wanted to host several of their top partners from both the UK and abroad by arranging a fun weekend in combination with their sponsorship of the Mercedes F1 team at the British Grand Prix.
We were asked to find a quintessentially British hotel which could accommodate the guests with gardens suitable for informal al fresco dining and entertainment withing 30 minutes of Silverstone. As Pure Storage are an official team partner of Mercedes, we were also required to arrange a Mercedes F1 factory tour along with VIP British Grand Prix hospitality and helicopter transfers.
The client chose the stunning Fawsley Hall Horl and Spa in Northamptonshire. We arranged airport transfers and branded Mercedes Vianos to transport guests to the Mercedes Formula One factory in Brackley for a VIP tour. A catalyst meeting was also arranged so guests could see the huge strategic importance of the analytics provided by Pure Storage and hoe they work within Formula One delivering the last 6 world championships for Mercedes. During the evening we arranged an al fresco BBQ in the hotel gardens which included a hog roast, gin tasting and live entertainment.
The next day the fully branded vehicles transported the guests to Silverstone where they experienced full hospitality courtesy of the Mercedes F1 team including pit walkabout, visit to the garage and opportunity to meet a driver. A themed put garage dinner was arranged along with the official Mercedes F1 racing simulator.
On the Sunday, race day, privately chartered helicopters transferred guests to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix where they enjoyed top hospitality in a private suite. Guests watched the Grand Prix with fantastic views over the start/finish straights before returning to the hotel and their onward journeys.
