Jabra chose the 5 star Astir Palace Resort, consisting of two hotels located on a private peninsula by Athens. This hotel is located in a stunning yet easily accessible location, with the option of a variety of watersports and spa treatments, yet close enough to the ancient city of Athens for guests to visit. The result was a successful and well-received Channel Partner Conference with 281 people from 29 countries and 44 destinations in attendance.
We designed a secure website with registration portal which was closely monitored for attendees and flight and transfer requirements. An essential part of the event was the conference and exhibition to communicate to their partners the success of the company and showcase their product range and new products and we worked closely with a local AV company for the set build and design and also to arrange a “Solution Zone” consisting of 12 partner stands displaying their products. As Jabra had only just rebranded, they revealed their new logo at the event, which was incorporated on a variety of branding including the AV set, reception desk, Solution Zone, flags, lighting and stationery around the resort.
A variety of catering options were offered throughout the event, including a welcome reception in the Matsuhisa Japanese restaurant whilst the sun set to reveal the new logo projected across the sea. The gala awards dinner took place at the hotel under a pergola overlooking the sea. The area was dressed with branded and lit table centres and a canopy roof installed in case of inclement weather. Welcome drinks were served while the sun set and guests dined al fresco followed by the awards ceremony and the music began and the guests danced the night next to the sea.
Guests were offered a range of fun activities to choose from to during their freetime which included an interactive city tour of Athens including visit to the Acropolis, sailing cruise, Jet Ski, paddleboarding, kayaking…or they could spend time at leisure enjoying the surroundings of the resort.
Overall the event was a huge success and well received by all who attended.
